I’ve been anxious and I’ve been depression. While being in the throes of either feels like hell, there is something worse than that.

It’s the worry, fear and anxiety about the anxiety and depression. It’s the suffering thrown upon the struggles that emulsifies it, and makes every moment feel intolerable.

I’ve learned to find pockets of joy, hope and profound gratitude even in painful moments. Doing so doesn’t ignore, abandon or avoid the hard stuff. On the contrary, it helps us to deal with it better.
