This past Saturday was Veterans Day. I often wonder what to say to those brave men and women in uniform. “Thank you,” hardly seems enough. Sometimes I get overwhelmed thinking about all the things they do, and ways we’re not living up to their acts of service.

And then I realized maybe instead of focusing on what to say or not say, we can listen and be receptive to what vets need.

Spreading awareness is a start, but if you are in the military or know someone who is, what do you think we can do to make a difference? Let me know what you think.
